Fish Ball is a mouth-watering recipe which can also be considered a delightful snack for all the die hard fish lovers out there. This recipe is quite similar to croquettes, stuffed with fish and potatoes and deep fried. The combination of fish and potatoes is unique but tastes divine. You can make this delicious recipe with minimum efforts and time. This is an easy dish which could be prepared and served at parties, gatherings, friends meet and as simple as a game night. It is up to you to do some creativity with its side serving but it usually tastes best with some green chutney or sauce.

How to make Fish Balls

  • Step 1 Make a paste

    Remove the stems of the red chilies and grind to make a paste with sugar, garlic and vinegar. Keep it aside

  • Step 2 Boil the fish and make a dough

    Boil the fish in a container for about 5 minutes until it is soft. Combine it with the boiled potato, bread crumbs, corn flour, the red chilly paste and salt. Mix well until a dough is formed.

  • Step 3 Make balls and fry them

    Roll the dough into round shape balls. Take a pan, add oil in it and when the oil gets hot, deep fry the prepared fish ball in it. Serve hot with tartar sauce.
