Ingredients of Kullu Trout
- 2 pieces trout
- 2 teaspoon coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon dill leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon lemon rinds
- 1/2 cup mustard oil
- salt as required
How to make Kullu Trout

Step 1 Marinade the fish
To start preparing this delectable recipe first, wash and clean the trout fish. Now, take the fish in a bowl and add crushed coriander seeds, dill leaves, salt, chilli flakes lemon juice, lemon rind and mustard oil. Mix these ingredients well and rub on the fish. Keep the marinated fish aside for about 10 minutes.

Step 2 Fry the marinated fish
Once the fish marination is done, heat oil in a pan. To the heated oil add marinated fish and fry evenly on both sides for at least 5 minutes. Drain the excess oil and keep the fish aside until further use.

Step 3 Prepare the sauce spread
Again heat oil in a pan. Once adequately heated, add onions with mustard seeds and saute until the onions change colour. Turn off the flame, and mix in the lemon juice, salt and coriander leaves. Stir the mixture to combine the ingredients well.

Step 4 Spread sauce over the fish and serve
Finally, spread the prepared sauce over the fried fish. Serve hot with rice.
