  • Step 1 Set pan on medium flame

    To prepare this amazing Christmas cake, take a large bowl and add the dry fruits (dried cranberries, cherries, dates, and figs) in a bowl, along with lemon juice-zest, orange juice-zest, and scotch whisky. Heat it over medium flame for some time and add butter and brown sugar.

  • Step 2 Boil the ingredients.

    Mix everything lightly and let it come to a boil. Then let it simmer for 5 minutes more on low flame. Once done, set it aside.

  • Step 3 Preheat the oven.

    Now, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius degrees. In the meantime, take a baking tray place a parchment paper, and set aside.

  • Step 4 Prepare the cake batter.

    In a separate bowl, use a sieve and add all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon powder. Next, add vanilla extract, flaked almonds, eggs, and the previously prepared fruit mixture. Mix well until everything is combined well.

  • Step 5 Bake the cake for 2 hours.
