Seekh Kebab Recipe
Seekh Kebab is a lip-smacking side dish, which hails from the Mughlai cuisine. Of all the kebabs, this is one of the most popular one as it is juicy and succulent. This delicious recipe is prepared with minced mutton, onion and lots of spices. These non-vegetarian kebabs are easy-to-cook and are loaded with nutrition. Ingredients of Seekh Kebab
- 1 1/2 kilograms mutton
- 1 medium ginger
- 1/4 bunch coriander leaves
- salt as required
- 2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 small onion
- 8 cloves garlic
- 5 green chilli
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 cup vegetable oil
How to make Seekh Kebab

Step 1 Wash and mince the mutton
To prepare this delicious kebab recipe, wash the mutton and mince it well. Next, chop onion, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, green chilies. Keep them in a deep bowl.

Step 2 Make a meat mixture with spices
Add chili powder, roasted coriander powder, salt, garam masala powder and coriander leaves to the minced mutton and chopped onion, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilies mixture. Mix all the ingredients well and leave it to marinate for 6-8 hours.

Step 3 Make small kebabs and stick them to the skewers
Next, apply oil on hands. Make small round meat balls and thread each through a skewer. Flatten the ground meat in a thin layer around each skewer.

Step 4 Cook the kebabs and serve hot!
Traditionally, made in a tandoor, this dish cam also be made using the Barbecue method. You can barbecue the kebabs on low heat of coal. Turn skewers until kebab changes colour. Serve hot with chutney or dip of your choice!
Tips
- To make the kebabs more delicious and soft you can add a little raw papaya paste while mixing the ingredient.
- You can dry roast the spices and add them to the meat mixture.
