Coriander Mutton Recipe
A mutton with dominant flavours of coriander, this is a homemade recipe which has some basic Indian spices and flavours which will make you go in the heavens of delight. This is a meat dish which can be nostalgic too as in many households in India, people actually make meat dishes on special occasions and celebrations. Mutton Coriander is a dish which is suitable for any occasion but mostly for parties, anniversaries, weddings, pot luck and any festival. This mutton with its thick gravy can be consumed as main course with rotis or rice too.

500 gm chopped into cubes mutton -
5 cloves chopped garlic -
1 cup hung curd -
1 teaspoon garam masala powder -
1 bunch coriander leaves -
salt as required

3 chopped onion -
1 grated ginger -
1 teaspoon red chilli powder -
2 teaspoon coriander powder -
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
How to make Coriander Mutton

Step 1 Wash the mutton and keep it aside
Wash mutton properly, beat curd and marinate the mutton with curd, red chilly powder and salt. Keep it for an hour.

Step 2 Make a paste and fry onions
Make a paste of ginger, garlic and green chilly by grinding it in a mixer. Now chop onions and take a cooker, add oil in to it fry the onions till golden brown.

Step 3 Add marinated mutton and stir well
Now pour marinated mutton in it and stir well. When its half cooked, add ginger, garlic, green chilly paste. Then add half of coriander, cook for some time and stir well.

Step 4 Garnish with some leaves and garam masala
Cover the cooker and cook for some time again then add some leaves for garnishing and garam masala. Close the Cooker and cook the mutton again for some time on a slow flame.

Step 5 Final garnishing with some coriander leaves
When the mutton is cooked, take serving Bowl transfer mutton in it and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
