Vietnamese Summer Rolls Recipe

Well, if you are wondering how these Spring Rolls are made, here’s the simple recipe. These rolls are also known as salad rolls, rice paper rolls, and fresh spring rolls. All you require are rice noodles, carrot, cucumber, and Chinese cabbage along with cucumber and rice paper sheets or wrappers. These rice paper sheets are first soaked in warm water for a few seconds which softens them. Afterward, all the shredded and julienned veggies are stuffed in the center and the sheet is rolled with the mouth open. It is that simple! Ingredients of Vietnamese Summer Rolls
- 10 gm rice noodles
- 10 gm carrot
- 10 gm chinese cabbage
- 5 gm mint leaves
- 2 rice paper sheets
- 10 gm cucumber
- 10 gm crushed peanuts
- water as required
How to make Vietnamese Summer Rolls

Step 1 Boil rice noodles
Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil. Boil rice noodles for 3 to 5 minutes and drain.

Step 2 Soak rice paper sheets in water
Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip the wrappers into the warm water for 1-2 seconds to soften.

Step 3 Add the veggies and rice noodles in the center
Lay a wrapper flat. In a row across the center, place rice noodles, carrot, Chinese cabbage, and cucumber, leaving about 2 inches uncovered on each side. Spread crushed peanuts over them.

Step 4 Roll the rice wrappers and enjoy with sauces
Fold uncovered sides inward, then tightly roll the wrapper. Cut into 2 pieces. Serve rolled spring rolls with sweet chili sauce & peanut sauce.
